When I was 10 years old my father was laid-off from his job and withdrew from the world. From that time, until I moved out at 19, I cannot recall having a single conversation with my Dad.
I wrote this song on the way home from a family trip to Wisconsin, to see my Father's hometown. This song came to me as I cried in the shower trying to figure out what I would say, if I felt I could.
